Festival lineups matched to your music taste

So many artists, so many stages… how to choose? FestWave solves that problem by matching your music taste to the actual festival lineups.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick a festival

Choose from our curated line-ups — full schedules, every stage.

  2. 2

    Add your taste

Upload your exported Spotify liked songs — or just type in the names of the artists you like.

  3. 3

Get your grid — then tweak it

A personalised, colour-coded schedule showing who to see and when. Disagree with a match? Click any set to change it — your edits are saved.

You stay in charge: every set in your grid is editable — one click cycles it plays → ◆ Taste → ★ Liked and back. Rate the line-up your way; FestWave remembers your edits.

How to export your songs

FestWave has no Spotify login or API access. That’s by design — rather than connect to your account, you export your own liked songs with the free Exportify tool and upload the file. It’s read in your browser and never reaches our servers.
  1. Go to exportify.net and log in with Spotify there (on Spotify’s own page).
  2. Find your Liked Songs and export them as a CSV file.
  3. Come back to FestWave, open a festival, and upload that CSV — matching happens instantly, on your device.

Free for every 2026 festival

While FestWave grows, every 2026 festival is completely free — full personalised, editable colour-coded grids for all of them. No payment, no account needed. Pick a festival →

Set times are provisional — always confirm in the festival’s official app.

Don’t see your festival yet?

We add festivals by demand. Request yours and leave your email — we’ll tell you the moment it’s live (and when set times drop for the big ones).

Private by default. Cloud if you want it.

Your music library is matched in your browser — we never see it. Unlock festivals individually and FestWave stores nothing about you at all; the only trade-off is that your grid lives in this one browser.

Want it on every device? Create a free, optional account — just an email, no password — to keep your taste and unlocked festivals in the cloud and get lineup-change alerts. We store your email and what you choose to sync, nothing else. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

FAQ

How does FestWave know my music taste?

You export your own Spotify Liked Songs with the free Exportify tool and upload the CSV — or just pick your favourite artists by hand. The file is read in your browser; your music data never reaches our servers.

What does FestWave cost?

Nothing right now — every 2026 festival is completely free, including the full personalised, editable grid. Just pick a festival and add your taste. Festivals in later years may become paid.

Why is there no “Log in with Spotify”?

Spotify's API programme is closed to new independent apps, so FestWave doesn't connect to your account at all. Exporting the file yourself is your right as a user — and it means we never see or store your listening data.

What do the colours in the grid mean?

Green (★ Liked) — the artist is in your library. Amber (◆ Taste) — the act fits the genres you listen to most. Everything else just plays. You can click any set to re-tier it yourself.

Are the set times official?

Set times are curated from public sources and verified by hand, but they are provisional — festivals shuffle schedules late. Always confirm in the festival's official app. FestWave is an independent tool, not affiliated with any festival, artist, or Spotify.

Do I need an account?

No — FestWave works completely without one, and that way we store nothing about you (your taste and saved festivals live in your browser). But a free account — just your email, no password — keeps them in the cloud, restores them on any device, and can email you about lineup changes or new festivals matching your taste.

What if I clear my browser or lose my device?

With an account, just sign in anywhere and press “Sync” — your taste and saved festivals come back. Without one, they live only in this browser. Questions? Contact support@festwave.app.
